Are you asking how to end the bind off in the round? If so, I used my tail to “connect” the first bind off stitch to the last bind off stitch and it was nearly invisible.
Do you have directions to join from knitting on a circular needle?
First time using this bind off – its great. Thank you!
Work about 3 stitches into the corner stitch to compensate for the I-cord turning around the corner. It works like a charm!
Is there anything special that has to be done for an icord bindoff around corners? I have knitted a square afghan from the center out, increasing at the corners. The icord bindoff would be a nice finish to this piece.
So happy I could help. Can’t wait to see you in a few days!
This was a lifesaver…was ready to give up on this method and just do a regular bind off….then I found your tutorial and am loving this bind off..Your tutorials are always the best!!!!!!
Looking forward to attending your class at Stitches West…
So clear and easy to follow. Thanks
I had never heard of this bind off until I made the Wandering Moon Shawl — I love it! I can definitely see using this for certain items in the future.
