  1. On Ridgely part 3, Set Up row 1 – I have 2 extra stitches. What should I do about these?

  2. I am repeat #11 and I am loving this shawl. This is my first KAL and your videos and pattern have made this KAL so easy. thank you!

  3. I am excited and hopeful since I am a fairly inexperienced knitter and have never done a knit along. Can’t wait!

  4. I am taking two of your classes at the Unwind Getaway in Blowing Rock later this month, so I thought it would be fun to knit with you ahead of time!

  5. Gauge is not as crucial with a shawl since it does not have to “fit”. The most important aspect in this project is that you are happy with the appearance of the fabric. If you are close enough to the stated gauge then you will be fine. I would knit a swatch with #5 needles and see how the gauge measures and if you are pleased with the stitches. Let me know how it goes!

  6. Just wondering, I knit Cobasi socks with #2 needles @ 7st/in, but this is same stitches/in on #6 US? Where should I start for gauge? Loved Crimple but am slow knitter, looking forward to this one too.

  7. A bunch of us at Yarn By The Sea in Aptos CA are preparing for this project. We’ve purchased our materials and we’re antsy with anticipation. This is going to be a blast!

Thank you so much for doing this and for giving us a another great reason to gather together and knit our little hearts out.

    With Gratitude,

  8. I’m so excited! I just ordered my CoBaSi, it’ll be here before the 4th. This is a lot of firsts for me… First KAL, first two-color shawlette (first two-color anything, for that matter), first time using CoBaSi. I can’t wait to get started!

  9. It is a mystery knit along so no picture will be posted prior to the start of the shawlette. I will post pictures along the way here and many knitters post their pictures in our Ravelry group. I promise that you will love it!

  10. What length of circular 6’s is sufficient for the April KAL? This is a first for me and I am very excited to start!
