It’s worked much like a Make One. Check out my Afterthought Yarn Over video.
How do I do an “after thought” for a missed “yarn over twice”?
I’ve honestly never bound off double yarn overs before. I would probably test it out on a swatch first. Also, try looking the pattern up on Ravelry to see how other knitter have handled the situation. Happy knitting!
Ok. I am about to bind off the bottom of a shawl that has double yo in the last row. The recommended BO is “ p 2, *pass 1st p over 2nd, p 1, repeat from * . Does the double yo require special handling?
A double yarn over will create a larger lacy hole. The make one stitches will not make a hole and the design will be dramatically different. Hope this helps!
Can I substitute m1r,m1l instead of a double yo and would I do the m1r first or the m1l first
