Rediscover the simple beauty of the knit and purl stitch as you work this top down sock. The brick inspired design paves the way to a sturdy and comfortable garter stitch short row heel. This easy heel is perfect for first time short row knitters. Check out the video instructions for this heel on the video lessons link.
This sock debuted as Mystery Sock #17 in September 2009 and knit with Spud and Chloe fingering weight yarn.
Thanks so much for checking with me! Your link did not take me to a pattern. I am unfamiliar with those abbreviations but I am guessing that it has to do with left and right leaning decreases or cables. It could be left over cross and right over cross. Unfortunately these are guesses. I found nothing in my fairly extensive knitting library that used those terms. Sorry I wasn’t more help!
This may not apply to the sock but I found a pattern called paving and has abbreviations such as Loc and Roc. I know the basic knit and purl but was looking to expand my pattern library. Do u think u could help me figure this one out? Here is the site and pattern. Im stumped! http://www.knittingfool.com/pages/stCatalog2.guest.cfm?StitchID=1181&name=Paving&numofst=6&stplus=4&rows=6&rplus=0&sym=0
To knit sleeves in the round, you will need to use double points or the magic loop technique. All of the staff is familiar with these techniques and would be happy to help.
How do I knit in the round sleeves on one needle? Also if I come into the shop this Sat. could someone help me with this , please?
Try my video titled, “Judy’s Magic Cast On”. It is my #1 video. Let me know how it goes! Happy knitting, Michelle
