Catawampous
This top down sock was a delight to knit due to the yummy softness of Shibui’s newest yarn, Staccato. The cuff began with the optional rib cast on using the Long Tail/Purl Cast On (see Purl Cast On Video) and was followed by the simple dancing squares. Pattern debuted as Mystery Sock #24 in May 2010.
Fading Away
Watch one color fade playfully into another in this cuff down sock pattern. Directions for an easy short tow heel are just part of the fun in this two colored sock.
Unveiled as Mystery Sock #9 in October 2008. Knit with Shibui sock yarn in colors Wasabi and Peony.
Friendship Sock
The multi-colored version of this sock was knit with yarn traded with friends. The two colored version gives a totally new look to the design. The design features an Eye of Partridge Heel and the debut of Michelle’s Eye of Partridge Toe.

Cablicious
Cables are fun and easy to knit in this top down sock. The rib design flows into the heel flap as well as the toe. Sure to be a sock favorite!
Premiered as Mystery Sock #12 in February 2009. Knit with Prism Merino Mia sock yarn.
Bamboozled
This top down sock puts a “twist” on the classic bamboo pattern. A twisted cast on edge begins the graduated bamboo design that is also featured on the heel flap.
Mystery Sock #15 unveiled in June 2009 and knit woth Alpaca Sox yarn by Classic Elite Yarns.
Politically Correct
Just one stitch will cause your sock to “lean” to the left or the right. Make one of each and you have a pair of politically correct socks. This top down sock starts with a unique bobble row and spirals on down to an easy short row heel. Everyone votes for this sock!

Mystery Sock Group is a class held at Temptations in Dublin, Ohio for the truly sock addicted. An original sock design is revealed one round at a time as knitters work their way to uncovering the pattern’s beauty. Every session focuses on new techniques and tips with an emphasis on FUN! The class is open to all sock knitters (double points, two circs or magic loop). The highlight of every class is when the treasure box is unlocked and the completed sock makes its debut. Knitters receive a pattern, education and inspiration to complete their own sock masterpieces.
