Rosette Stitch

The Rosette Stitch is a beautiful pattern that is very simple to execute and may be worked over any multiple of even numbered stitches.

Row 1. (Right Side) Knit.
Row 2. *P2tog leaving the stitches on left hand needle, k2tog these same stitches and remove from left hand needle; repeat from * to end of row.
Row 3. Knit.
Row 4. P1, *P2tog leaving the stitches on left hand needle, k2tog these same stitches and remove from left hand needle; repeat from * to last stitch, p1.

  1. I’m so happy you are enjoying both the KAL and Building Blocks. We currently run KALs every quarter. Our next Knit Along will be in January – hope you can knit with us then as well!

  2. Should part 3 be the same width as part 1? The yarn I am using resulted in a stretchy part 1 so it is wider than it probably should be. Should I just cast on more stitches to make part 3 the same width?
